Refillable cups

Where do you buy these refillable cups? Do you get them in one of the shops or buy a Coke somewhere and pay extra for the cup?

Yes to both. They are sold in various shops and are available at most of the food carts and restaurants.

Just a suggestion...try to get a cup that has a handle and a cap. I purchased the Jimmy Neutron cup last week and it doesn't come with a cap for the straw. But I loved only paying $1.34 (incl. tax)for refills. Also, they will fill it with ice for you in case you bring your own water.

JoniGirl - Sorry for waiting a few days to reply; knew we were on our way for the AP event on Friday night, and wanted to "research" the answer for the beer glass question first hand:crazy:

Answer is: you will be charged the "large" beer amount for a refill of the beer "stein" (plastic beer stein shaped cup) that holds approximately 24 plus liquid ounces ( 2 cans of beer plus 1/2 inch of foam). I forgot to note the amount you pay for the initial purchase; we have had ours since last July, and although I was trying to pay attention to the price you pay for refill, I forgot to note what the current "buy" price is. I think it is around $10.?

Please also note that my son took this on as a research thing, and was using empty cans to fill with water, to figure out the proportions. Not that I was consuming beer - we just broke the research into liquids poured from measurable containers(empty beercans). We just guesstimated that the foam was supposed to be 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick.

And short of looking like the resident "lush" of this thread, I will quote Forrest Gump and say,

"And that is all that I have to say about THAT!":rolleyes1 :teeth:

Where can you purchase the refillable beer stein? Also, can i tbe refilled anywhere? TIA

And a question from me......

Are these refillable 'cups', as in lightweight molded plastic? Or are they refillable 'mugs' as in Disney/Swan-Dolphin insulated style?

phamton is correct - lightweight molded plastic.

When you take them home - DO NOT (yes thatwas a shout) put them in the dishwasher.

Once in the dishwasher, they are forever "etched". I don't know how to better describe it! It seems like the dishwasher soap makes them forever dirty looking!

I have a child, so I am familiar with how plastics react in the dishwasher. Maybe, because they are so tall and I put them in the lower rack, they got this horrid "dirty" look! :scared1:

Once washed in the dishwasher, forever cloudy!

But we still use em' :drinking1

And we still get the reduced price!
