While in Florida this past September I purchased the large Disney World scrap book at one of the outlet stores. I believe the plastic inserts are something like 12x12.. Considering that we were there for 14 days - for the first time with my 3 yr. old granddaughter - I have like a GAZILLION "special" pictures and I know that there are not enough pages in this scrap book.. Does anyone know where I can buy the exact same plastic inserts?

And here's the biggee.. How do I get started? I am paralyzed with fear that I'm going to mess everything up.. :( (If you haven't figured it out yet I tend to be a bit of a "perfectionist".. LOL)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

here you go -

WDW Scrapbook Refills
Holson Products 1-800-243-8633
Packs of 15 pages & 10 page protectors.
Item # R-XLG 1015
$4.99/refill pack

should be on the top of the page I think , the number of people that need to order more - I bought 2 packs and that is really the limit of the album - if you don't have 15 rolls of film (we did!) then maybe one pack would be more comfortable.

Just wanted to update everyone...just tried to call and order the refills, the company has been bought out, no longer offering this product or a replacement for it. I'm bummed! I need 7-10 more for my 2005 Wooden scrapbook...can someone point me in the right direction????

Ugh! I finally got around to startng that scrapbook - now - the summer of 2005 - and what I've had to do is take the page protectors from MY album to combine with the ones from my DD's album in order to have enough pages to do only the very best photos.. Guess that mean MY album is useless now.. :( It would have been so much easier if they made everything a "true" 12x12..

Oh well - that's the breaks, I guess.. I'll just have to come up with something else when I do my own scrapbook - like in 5 years.. :rotfl:

I have the DCL 12 x 12 scrapbook and just bought the refill pages they sell at Michael's. They fit fine. My only problem is the spine on the scrapbook not stretching far enough to accomodate all of the refills. Anyone have a suggestion here? I've already used a hole punch to extend the holes but it's just that it's not going to make it. I think what I may have to do is find some vinyl type fabric that matches the scrapbook and cut a new spine and just adhere the center part of the original spine that says, "DCL 2005" on it. Anyone with a better and easier suggestion?

No suggestions for your problem but I wanted to say that my DD bought several types of refills at Michael's and they don't fit the albums that we have.. They are three-ring binder type and the entire page protector - including the hole punched area - is 12x12 - which makes the "page" area less.. The "pages" aen't a problem - I've just cut down the traditional 12x12 sheets, but without protectors there's not much point in doing additional pages.. :(

Have the changed the albums? I just checked mine and the refills from Mike's works with mine. I was scared~ I have a whole wedding album to do yet....

CAn someone give me the brand name of the page protectors that work in the Disney 2005 album. I have bought 3 brands and none of them work. Thanks, Paula

I took my Disney album (from 2 years ago) to my LSS, and she measured the pages to help me find refills that fit. For that album, the Pioneer 12 x 12 refills were almost exactly the same. . .and pretty inexpensive. When I bought the DCL book this year, the Pioneer refills were a little more off, but I used them anyway, and they are not very obviously different. Maybe those would work? :confused3 I ended up putting so many in my DCL book, though, that I can no longer use the spine. . .DH says you need a forklift to haul it around! :teeth:

Yep, Pioneer appeared to work for me.

This is the best thing to do. Believe it or not, most people think that any page protector will fit any album and unfortunately that is not true. Usually the LSS will have more selection than your normal Michael's and Hobby Lobby.
