Refill mugs?

Is there a link to all the places that sell these mugs and where on those properties you can refill the mugs? Specifically, do they sell these at YC and if so, where can you refill them?

I've seen lists for various refill station selections for a few resorts, is there are more comprehensive list for all resorts? This may be a consideration for us when we book our hotel. I know it sounds strange, but with 5 of us getting full use out of these mugs, it really makes a difference how convenient the refill stations are, all things being equal of course.

im not sure about that resort but we have stayed at ASMU, ASMO and AKL and there is only the one refill station in the food court. And you can only refill them at your resort.

Yes, you can purchase the refillable mugs at the Marketplace in the beach club. They can be refilled at the Marketplace, Beaches and Cream or the Compass lounge which is located in the lobby of the Yacht Club. Hope this helps

Oh...one more thing....if you are a morning coffee person go to the compass lounge they open at 6 am and it is real ground coffee! yum

Glad to hear this. We were at The Beach Club this past May and while hanging out at the pool I went to the Yacht Club to see if there was someplace to refill my mug. I didn't know about this place. I will keep it in mind for next time.

The kind folks at Hurricane Hanna's at the BC/YC pool will also refill your mug for you.

I will be traveling to WDW for the first time with my husband and three kids in June. We opted for the DxDP which includes the mugs. I am very confused about where I can refill the mugs. I have read that we can ONLY refill the mugs at our resort (BWI) and I have also read we can refill them at any resort? What are the parks?

The refillable mugs are purchased at your resort (or given to you with the DXDp) and they are for refills at that resort only. They will not get refilled in the parks. At the water parks you can purchase a different refillable mug to be used there only.

You can refill resort mugs only at the resort you are staying at.

Not sure if they still do this but at the AK they used to sell a large mug with an animal head top. If you purchased that you could refill it for a nominal price (I think it was $1.00 but we are talking at least 3 years ago).

They also have refillable mugs at the water parks. I believe for those you purchase the mug and they put a bar scan code label on your mug. You need to scan the bar code to fill up your mug. I believe when you go back to the water park on another day you can bring your mug and purchase another bar scan label and refill your mug for that day only.

I believe that the mugs are now year specific...not resort specific....so there is no control over what resort they are used at. (i mean the design on the mugs...they don't have "polynesian" or "all star" printed mugs anymore...which was about 100 times cooler...but i guess that confused the chinese factories too much )

I'm not even sure if they are changed annually anymore...

now, they have tinkered some with barcoded smart readers on fountains that couldn't be tricked into dispensing to mugs purchased elsewhere - i think they use these at typhoon and blizzard...and eventually that kinda thing in some form will be the normal. As far as i remember, we haven't got there yet.

The official rule of thumb is that they are good at where you're staying...and all QUICK serve and bar/ lounges will fill them for you. Sit downs will not...unless for some reason you want them to while you're eating there...not enough manpower for walk in drink orders

They will be on your room key. After you check in, just go to the food court, grab your mugs, and tell the cashier you have the DxDDP (or counter service plan, whichever) and want to get your free mugs. She'll run your room key through and give you a receipt that says 'zero credits remaining' for the mugs.
