HI could anyone offer some info if universal do refill mugs.
and where is the best cheapest place to eat with 7 kids in tow i need to watch the penniesa little

7 kids! May Glod bless you for your patience!:p :D

You should be admired!

This is one thing that I noticed while at universal. If you are going to buy the refillable drink cups (You know sponge bob and the like) buy them in the souvinir shops. Especially, if you have an annual pass that will get you discounts. For example, the sponge bob souvinir cup costs 11.99 if you use your annual pass discount you will save 20 percent on the purchase of this cup as compared to purchasing them from one of those snack shacks which will not give you any discount at all. With each one of the cups will be a certificate for your first fill up free. I believe the refills were $1.25 each after that.

Ooh, thanks for the tip! I don't have an AP but I do have AAA card which will get me a 10% discount in the souvenir shops.

Personally, even tho the sponge bob cups are cute & all, I would much rather pay $4.99 for the Jimmy Neutron cup & then get the $1.34 refills. It holds 32oz of drink, enough for the 2 of us. 11.99 x 7 kids could get to be REAL expensive! + the Jimmy Neutron cup was easier to carry around & even fit into the very small kiddy back pack we had. The Sponge Bob ones were bulky & looked to be heavier to carry.

Could anyone post a picture of the Jimmy Neutron cups? I am trying to figure out what to look for when I go. I definitely want the one that holds 32 oz.

I dont know how to post pictures, I do have the cup at home, got it during my last trip for the Mummy PAP Event. It has somewhat of a holographic look Dark blues & reds & Jimmy Neutron on it & a blue thick plastic reusable lid & one of those textured clear reusable straws. I got my cup at the restaurant that sells "cheesecake factory" cheesecakes, sandwiches & other desserts across from the big Universal store near the front entrance. I also saw the cups back in the games area back by jaws at one of the little hut sized snack places. Just ask around for the $4.99 cups, you can not buy them in the big Universal merchandise store, I asked there. Also, I know for certain they do not sell them in the Monsters Cafe as I tried there first. But you can get them refilled anywhere in the parks that has soda fountains or Tea.

thank you i may just buy 3 of the 4 $4.99 cups and let them share. have you any more tips for dining

not dining but snacking - get a souvineer popcorn bucket, refills are only $1.99 - ALL kids love popcorn right??!!!?!?!!

also, good idea on the Jimmy Neutron cups, at least you can stack them inside one another for compact storage when they are empty making them easier to carry around the park since you will have several of them.

another tip I just thought of for dining, depending on the ages of the kids, it may be cheaper to share meals. my favoirte place to share meals is at Monsters Cafe, you can get 1/2 a rotissiere chicken (they serve it in 2 pieces either leg/thigh or breast/wing, we ask for 2 leg/thighs & they have no problem accomodating us) also comes with a good amount of potatoes, plenty enough for my daughter (11) & I to share. Just ask for a 2nd plate. or if the kids are smaller, toddler ages or so, they could share a single serve pizza which is around $6 or $7, still cheaper than 2 kids meals.
