Referral gift card (not phone tour)

Referred a friend and he bought DVC. How long til I get the $200 gift card? Thanks!

It depends on how long it takes for the contract to close. When I referred someone, I got the email within a few days after their contract closed (about 2 months after the person bought).

Once I selected my reward, it took a few weeks for the gift card to actually arrive via Fed Ex.

Same timeframe as above. Had NO idea they sent it fedex...missed the fedex guy on Friday, thought it might be belated GCV webcast "gifts", decided to wait until Monday to have it redelivered (instead of picking it up after 5 that afternoon)...whoopsie!

Oh, and there's no indication online that it's been sent, nor is there an email. I got an email to let me know of the reward, I was able to choose the redemption online, and after that, nothing until fedex.

We toured with my referremom in DL in September, but she took a bit of time to get her act together...

It did take a couple months for the e-mail and a few weeks after that for the Fed Ex. Now we have $200 for our December trip to DL (Should about offset the price difference in food between DL and WDW)
