Referral Bonus on APs?

Has anyone received their $25 gift card from the annual pass referral cards? They were supposed to be mailed 8/15, and I'm just wondering if anyone has started to receive them.

nope and it's frustrating me. I wish there was an online spot you could see how many were actually used. According to what I gave away, I am 'supposed' to be receiving back $175 in gift cards, but it's really out of my hands. Who knows who actually used them, and how Disney is tracking it. Maybe I'll drop Disney an email if they don't come by tomorrow.

What I was wondering if they'll send everything at once, or if they'll mail them out in the order the cards were turned in. I'm just hoping ours comes before October

I thought the letter said, 'bonus cards will be mailed BY August 15th.' So....I would think we would be getting them this week.

I just figured the people who took them from me never bothered using them. If I get anything I will be pleasantly surprised!

I just sent off an email asking when the cards will be mailed and if there is anywhere online we can check to see the amount we are receiving back. I kept a tally of who asked me for them and how many they said they were going to use....IF that all pans out, I should receive $175, I HOPE!

We used the referral card from a Dis friend to buy 4 AP's on July 31. I PM'd him to let him know the date and number purchased.
The only info. I have to add that may help is I had to give his first name. The CM said w/o it he wouldn't get the reward. Sure am glad I asked him.

I got my cards in the mail today (Well, some of them, at least). I know for sure that there were 8 AP's purchased with my cards, because I was present when those AP's were purchased. Also, I sent one card to another person who told me that they purchased two AP's with that one, so I should be getting a total of 10 $25 cards. However, I only got 4 in the mail today. The cards came attached to a sheet of paper (Which clearly stated that I should get one card for each AP purchased, so it wasn't just one per passalong card), and they way they were attached there was only room for four cards. So I'm thinking the other ones may be coming seperately and may still be in the mail.

The envelope came from Lake Buena Vista, FL and was postmarked yesterday, so hopefully they'll start arriving in other people's mailboxes soon

SWEET, Brett, thanks for sharing!!!!! I live in Oregon, so maybe I will get mine on Monday.

I know everyone I gave my AP cards to here on the DIS had my first name- I put it in the PM and it would be on the return address of my envelope- I sure hope they remembered it!!!!!

And does anyone know- if I take all my cards to the Disney Store, do you think they would consolidate the cards to one? I just plan on giving them to the front desk at OKW at check in to pay for part of the DDP- it would be much easier for them to just swipe one card versus 6-7!

I had the same thought... but mostly because I really didn't want to have to carry around 10 gift cards in my wallet, but unfortunately it doesn't look like we will be able to do that. In the fine print on the letter that came with the gift cards it says:

"Gift cards may not be used toward the purchase of Disney Dollars or Disney Gift Cards."

So unfortunately it looks like we'll be stuck with a lot of small cards. But free money is free money, so I'm not gonna complain too much

Oh well, you're right, free money is free money! I might just keep 1-2 of them in my wallet for souvenirs/alcoholic drinks, etc.

Last summer when we checked into BWV, I had $650 in Disney gift cards- I think there were 7 of them total and I wanted to apply it to our DDP. The check in host didn't mind at all - I just felt like a total goofball. I had earned them all at SunshineRewards.com, so again, free money!

Well, shoot -I live in Orlando, and I mailed out 3 cards to people on the Disboards, and I haven't gotten a thing. So maybe they didn't use them. That's kind of lame, I could have possibly given them to people who I'm sure would have. Well, maybe they will still arrive....

I'd definitely give them a few days before you start to worry too much. Like I said, mine was just postmarked yesterday and I seem to be among the first to receive them. It's possible that they didn't send them all out at once on the same day, or maybe yours got delayed in the mail by a day... the USPS has never been totally reliable
