Reference Auto Loan

Hi everyone

Hopefully there is someone that can answer this. I have a Chevy Suburban that is under my brothers name. I pay for it. Now if I want to trade that in and get another car in my name only can this be done. My name is not on the car now.

He would have to be there to sign some of the paperwork since he is the owner of the car. Then you could buy the new car.

My daughter used one of my cars in the trade in so I had to sign those papers. She bought the new car in her name.
