Wondering if anyone can help me with some info I am interested in renting a week of timeshare in Orlando through redweek.com but it appears I cannot even ask any questions of the owner unless I pay a $15.00 memberhsip fee to redweek. Is this correct? Is there any other way to do this?

Yes, I am a member of Redweek.com and that is how it works. In order to be able to talk to timeshare owners and rent from them, you must pay the $15 annual member fee. It's really reasonable considering you can save up to 50% on your accomodations (over hotel costs), so, for me, it was worth it. I have a family of 4 to travel with, so, I'm always looking for budget travel accomodations. And, I love that I can put my kids to bed in their room and still stay up in the living room to watch TV with my husband. Could never do that in a hotel. We always had to go to bed the same time the kids did. Once I learned about redweek (from my friend with who is a family of 5), we won't travel any other way.

Yes. I just let my RW membership expire, as we will be traveling much this year with a baby due this summer. But I used RW to book 2 stays at Atlantis Resort this past year, at $1400 and $1800 for each week, much cheaper than www.vrbo.com for the same time.
