How do you do it? What kind of program do you use? I found a gif I would like to use as an avatar. It is the size of an avatar, but when I try to use it, the message says it is 4000 bytes and too large. It is animated. Can the bytes be reduced without affecting the integrity of the art?

Depends.
I use Macromedia Fireworks and Photoshop most of the time. If you provide a link, I can grab it tomorrow and make it within specs if you want.

Thanks Mr. StormAlong, that would be great! I really appreciate it.
Does it need to be uploaded to my own site or can I give you the address I have for it?
I still can't upload to my site yet...grrr.

This one needed more than to reduce the colors. I had to also resize. Hope you like it.

I do like it. Looks good to me! Did you take out that snowy T.V. screen thing?
I wasn't crazy about that part, so THANK YOU for that also!!:sunny: :sunny: :sunny:

I think you might want to check with Doc, one of our DVC Board moderators, I know he's a Dentist and if he can't help you, I'm sure he could recommend someone who could.;)

Oh yeah, love the new Avatar! :D
