Reduced Easter items?

Does Disneyland Resort wait until after Easter to reduce their Easter merchandise and candies in the shops?

One year, when we were there the week before Christmas, some Christmas items were reduced at one of the Disneyland Hotel shops. I got a set of $25.00 Mickey Christmas candle holders for only $3.99.

A lot of times they do for about a day and then the send them to the Character Whearhouse in Fullerton...

I've never been lucky enough to find anything marked down in the park. As the other poster said, most of it goes to the liquidation store.

Well, I got the answer to my own question! Nope, not one Easter item reduced at DL or DTD. Lots of stuff on sale at the Disney Store the day after Easter.

I always wait for stuff to go on sale at the Disney Store! I've been a SAHM for almost 6 years now, but I actually worked at the Disney Store last Christmas season, stocking the store at night. They give you a 30% discount for CMs! How cool is that? I'm sure I spent more than I earned on Disney Store stuff. If I didn't show up 10 minutes before my shift, just to shop, my co-workers worried if I was coming in or not.

Yes, I've got the sale schedules memorized at The Disney Store. Glad you found some good stuff. I can't wait to check out the Character Warehouse when we go this year. Dh just rolls his eyes, but he knows better than to protest.

I went to DL last weekend and was looking for clearanced easter items. I just saw a few CM's clearing out all the easter items to make way for new merchandise. I asked if the cart full of items was on sale but they weren't. I wish the parks had sales.
