I think for the $ you can get a better service like TGM or UG. I would say not worth it.

I used TGM when we went the week before Easter, the longest wait we had anywhere was Haunted Mansion and that was only 15 minutes

I am a DL vet and used DL RideMax in 2005 with good results. The WDW version is new and does not have a track record like the DL version.

RideMax has lots of advice on how to use it. If something throws you off schedule, you need to find something to skip to get back on schedule. This happened to us at DL last November when the Matterhorn had a technical problem and slowed us down by 10 minutes. We skipped the next ride (Buzz LY) and worked it in later.

I too like TGM, but I think RideMax has something to offer as well. Some people get stressed out by the thought of waiting in lines and not knowing enough about touring. RideMax can help reduce stress for such people.

When we used it at DL, we did not follow it military style every day all day. We let it help us organize some mornings, while on other mornings we winged it.

It is a neat tool, and I am looking forward to using in on our June WDW trip. But it has room for improvement, and IMO TGM gives you a better big picture understanding. I think many folks would benefit from using both resources.

For more money than either TGM (which I'm currently using) or UG (which I've used in the past) you get a lot less! No dining reviews, no ride info, nothing about hotels.

And frankly having something telling me that we should be somewhere at 11:39 would just make me stressful. And I've PROMISED my DH that I won't commando tour on our next trip.

I bought this product and tried it out in DL. It worked well for a while but then I was unable to get a fast pass for a certain time so it threw the whole day off. Was given an immediate refund though.
I know there have been happy customers though.
I have also bought TGM and was completely satisfied with it.

Not hooey at all. Ridemax uses wait time data, which does show a historical pattern to optimize your itinerary to the shortest wait times possible. It works well at Disneyland. I assume they've got enough data on WDW to do that now too. The drawback is you already have to have your choices made.

My mom and I loved the Ridemax program. It allowed us to gauge how much we could reasonably get done in day. We used it as a guide and never stressed about being slightly off schedule. The best thing about it is that you can personalize the schedule for what you want. Most of the touring plans include things we don't want to do. This program works best for people who know what they want to do and are trying to maximize their short amount of time.
