Redoing bedroom

my parents said i can redo my room. right now my room is hawaiian and some piglet mixed together (i collect piglet). I have a few ideas on how i want to do it. my wall color is pink (to match my piglet stuff). i want to do pink and brown. i want to put those disney ads with the celebritys dressing as a disney character( the scarlett johasen as cinderella is one of them). 4 chrsitmas i got this nancy drew "scarpbook" with postcards of the differnt book covers and i want to frame them and hang then on my walls. im 16 and i want my room to be more grown up looking while not looking too old u kno what i mean. do u have any ideas???

you could have a lighter pink by itself or with a brown stripe with white trim. You could buy a metal sheet and hang it on one of your walls to hang stuff on with magnets. You could do polka dots as well. and Shelving units to showcase your love of piglet!

Well if you want it to be more mature looking, don't use pink or brown. Use red for walls, white crown molding, white baseboard with quarter-rounds. Don't use carpet, use wood. If the room is dark, use a ligher wood because with red walls it would look darker. Then frame and hang the disney adsand other things you want on the walls, because that will keep it from looking too mature. Also, the piglet things will prevent that. I'm re-doing my room also and i am doing a french theme . I have a painting of the eiffel tower & i got a black velvet chandelier (i got them at walmart but they are super cute !) . I got this preeeetttyyy bed set that is black & white and floral (its in one of my myspace pictures if you wanna see) at target . Also i have two black&white pictures of me framed that my neibor took and she is in a photography class so they got framed & stuff .
