redirect to antivirus page

Three times in the last few days I've been browsing DIS on two different computers and suddenly DIS has disappeared and I've been on a page telling me my anti virus program has expired. My antivirus has not expired and I've not experienced this browsing other websites. What's going on?

It also happened to me today. I reported it to the admin team.

I heard back from the Admin and was told that we should clear our cache and cookies. That it is our computers and not the site.

Because it's an ad that's doing it.

I agree - happening on my computer, too. Is definitely from these boards and not my computer. Will still clear cache but is only on these boards and it's a pain to lose the page in the middle of composing a new post, response, or reading through multi-page threads.

Happening to me as well...... and the anti -virus it says has expired, I don't even use.

Cleared cache - still getting ads. Maybe there's significant ad $ in allowing those popups? It's been an off year on the TA side so can't say I would blame anyone.

Mine does it at least once to twice a month, its not the site, but the ads on the site, some how the ads have a redirect to the "bad" sites. Just close the window and come back to this site.
