I'm a true redhead too! My hair is more of an auburn and in the summer is when I get alot of my bright red highlights. I love my haircolor and my freckles.
I worked at a drugstore during high school and women would walk up to my register asking me what hair color shade and brand I used. Had to tell them it was natural.

My dad is a redhead and my mom is a brunette, so my sister and I both have reddish brown hair. I love my hair color, but not my actual hair because it's annoying and never does what I want it to. My sister and I also happen to have an obsession with redhead guys and always have to point them out whenever we go anywhere.

I have that straight as a board hair as well as the many, many freckles to go along with my hair. Like most of you I hated it when I was growing up because it made me different but as I got older I got used to the mulitple compliments and requests for what brand/shade of coloring I must use.

DH LOVES my red hair. He is really hoping that if we ever have a little girl that she inherits my red hair. I think it will crush him if she doesn't. DS looks like he got my hair so there is hope.

I'm a flaming redhead, and proud of it. But when I was little, I asked my mother for black shoe polish so I could get rid of it. And as soon as I started liking it, I started losing it. Life isn't fair!

becka...we hope that too!! i would love it if we had a little boy and he would look like DH, dark features...but if we have a little girl, i hope that she gets my hair color!

i have naturally curly hair that drives me insane! but DH likes the curl, so i suck it up and deal with it

I had BRIGHT red hair when I was young, but now it is mostly a sandy brownish red.

DF is the same way, he swears up and down that he wants redhead daughters. The only trouble is that we're both very tall as well, so if my daughers turn out to be tall redheads like I am, they're going to go through LOTS of hard times in school! My mother would always tell me that the unkind words were caused by jealousy, though. I guess the rest of the world wishes they were charming, beautiful REDHEADS like we are!

LOL.. when I read that others were accosted about which hair coloring product to use...... I just tell everybody now...

straight red hair.., green eyes and translucent white skin with freckles and burn like the dickens when it comes to sunshine.. SPF 50! is a Godsend....


DH says he likes the red hair and because I am also tall he can easily spot me in a crowd

Right now I'm a "box" redhead..... I don't think there is a haircolor I haven't had! I'm really liking it- my Aunt told me she thinks I should have been born with red hair because it looks great! Coming from her that is QUITE a compliment.
