Just wanted to know how easy it is to redeem the Dream Dollars (Disney Visa incentive). A few months ago when I cashed in my points I received large cardboard Dream Dollars. Last month I received a debit card when I cashed them in. I guess they are discontinuing the Dream Dollars - anybody have any trouble using them?

We were at WDW in December & I had the Reward certificates. No problem using them - they are just like cash - the only thing you have to remember is that you will not get change so make sure you are spending at least the face value of the cert or over. I like the credit card better because the reward cert. were large & didn't fit in my wallet.

Thanks. I appreciate the information. I think I will enjoy the card more also, but for now I will spend those dollars.

We didn't have any trouble spending our Disney Reward Dollars last summer ... except that I kept forgetting to carry them with me ... they were too darn bulky. I've now got the Disney Rewards Card ... it should be much easier to use ... although I wonder if the bill is $5.01 will they subtract $5.01 or $6??? from the card ... anybody used the rewards card yet?

I used the rewards card last week, with no problems, other than one cashier who didn't ring it in properly and then kept the card (As of that purchase, I was down to a zero balance, but should have been able to keep the card and reload).

The card is used just like any type of gift card. They will subtract your purchase, and then the receipt shows you your balance. Sometimes you have to sign a slip (like a credit card) sometimes not.

We used the card at the Character Wharehouse, Boardwalk Bakery, Pepper Market, and several stores in the resorts and parks. It was great!! But now I have to order a new card, since the bakery still has mine. . .
