Has anyone rented movies through Redbox? Can you explain the rental procedure and how it works? Do they rent Blu-Ray discs? Any info would be appreciated. TIA!:thumbsup2

We love using the Redbox...it is easy, convenient and really reasonable.
The screen will guide you through the process with prompts, it is easy. You need to use a credit card to be able to access your movie. It will charge you when you return the movie (there is a little slot to feed it back into) at $1 per day that you had it out.
You can type in your email address and it will update you with your status, upcoming new releases, etc. I've never used the codes, I always return it within a day.
As far as I know there are no blue rays, all just regular DVDs.

Try it!

We also use Redbox. There is only one in our town, so pickings can be slim.

Because the movies go fast, your best bet for new releases is to reserve the movie online. It will hold your movie for up to 24 hrs and you pick it up on your time table. When you get to the box, you just swipe your card and it will spit out your movie.

This is a great little secret that most people don't know about and everyone in line is always amazed at how fast I move through the process. ;)

My local redbox locations carry Blu Ray movies. They dont have as large a selection of Blu Ray as DVD. They just started carrying them in the past few weeks. It seems to be all the popular movies that get Blu Ray.

We use the redbox ALL THE TIME!!! it is relaly conveinient! We usually reserve our movies online and then go pick them up!

We use Redbox all of time. Definitely reserve new releases online if you have your heart set on a movie. And you return them to any other Redbox, which is great! Your credit card gets charged when you return the movie. You will receive a receipt in your e-mail.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Redbox. If you sign up with them, you can get a free rental code via text one day a week.

Also LOVE LOVE LOVE the Redbox

You can rent the movie at 1 Redbox, and return at another. No big deal. For example, we drove from Denver to Las Vegas. Picked up at McDonalds in Denver, watched in the car, returned to Redbox at McDonalds in mid-Utah, got another, and returned to WalMart when we got to Vegas. Best 2 bucks I've ever spent :)

I love this! We did the same kind of thing when travelling to WDW.
