Red Week and Interval International

I found a great price on Redweek.com for Old Key West. The guy seems really nice and can't make a reservation he made through Interval International. Anyone know anything about this. Is it definitely transferable, any advice?

Interval International prohibits the sale of any exchange week. It is possible that you could get there and find out that the reservation had been cancelled because of this rule violation. It does happen and people get away with it, but be aware that it is against the rules and there is a risk involved.

If the price is not too much more, you'd be far better off renting directly from a DVC member. They CAN legally rent their points. You might pay a little more, but it would be a lot safer.
