I have been trying to get some for several years to no avail. I would love for my kids to see Fenway like I did when they are still kids, lol. ...

If you have kids, sign them up for Kid Nation. You are guaranteed two grandstand tickets per kid. You can only choose from certain games, but at least they can get in. I took my niece and nephew to the game on their kid nation tickets on Wednesday. Plus, they get some cool stuff when they join. This year they gave out Red Sox lunchboxes. My DH and I are also members of Monster Nation. We'll be up on the monster September 1, whoo-hoo!! I can't recall if you are guaranteed monster seats if you join monster nation, it might just get you the opportunity to try for them a lottery.

I should have put this in my earlier post but just thought of it. If you join Red Sox Nation you can register for a ticket lottery before the season starts. We've always gotten a message saying we won entry to the lottery, and have gotten tickets. This year we won the ticket opportunity lottery to try for opening day or a Yankees game. We went for opening day and got really good seats on the third base line. Also, if they make it to the playoffs, there is a lottery then too. I think it is worth the cost to join.
