AWWW COME ON....LOL....The Yanks lost purposely to tease the Sox into thinking they still had a chance!!!! Tonight.....will be the same upset given last year lmaooooooo (i hope). Good luck to both teams and may the best one come out shining!!!!!

Seriously, this has turned out to be a great series on both sides. Yankees played great the first 3, now the Sox have played great for 3. Tonight will be the night. I do have to say though, looking at bullpens, Sox look stronger right now. It will be one long night again. They're killing me!

I hear you loud and clear - one heck of a long night ahead. My birthday is tomorrow and for quite sometime my hubby has asked what I wanted - I kept saying "The Red Sox to beat the Yanks!" Here it is....

Now for my confession - I have now pulled a muscle (lets hope that what it is) in my shoulder jumping off my couch swinging my arms like I was trying to be rescued from a deserted island....
Does that make me die-hard fan of the month? or just plain blooming idiot??? LOL

Too Pure - No matter who wins, no one can deny us that this has been and will continue tonight - to be the best darn series sports has ever seen!

TooPure4u - Thanks - You guys play a long hard series just like we did. But fate had it...2004 was New England's year. I just wish Joe Torres had enough balls (excuse the phrase) to be big about it and say congratualtions like Grady Little did. Last year when we were there - the first words out of GL's mouth was congrats to the yankees....we're still waiting for that from JT.
It was a long hard series - and now at 28 y/o I think I will need blood pressure meds for next week...LOL

The last time Pedro lost to the Yankees (in the regular season) he said in his press conference just "the Yankees are my daddy" meaning they had his number and keep beating him for some reason. He just wasn't able to beat them. So the NY fans took that and ran and have chanted Who's Yer Daddy at Pedro everytime he has pitched. So the chant is in a "bad" way (but a good chant, I must admit). But when the Sox won last night the Sox fans in the stands started chanting it back at the Yankees fans.

I don't think they should have put Pedro in last night. See how the crowd got right back into the game when he came in. It wasn't the best move. Plus you could have saved him for the Series and Lowe was still pitching well. But I guess that is why I am not the manager of a major league baseball team.

Strange huh....last year it was "we left him in too long"...this year its "we put him in too soon"....I am kind of wondering about our "ACE???" Well Schilling has made himself "The Man" and I think anyone who is slumping, tired, or just plain whining....really needs to learn a few lessons from the Big Schill....JMO

NOW, the question is...

Will I be able to watch my beloved Sox in the World Series during my cruise!?

Our wedding is on Saturday and it ends at 8:00 pm, of course, the game starts at 7:30, I have a feeling people might bail early!!

Then, we leave on our cruise on Sunday, the 24th...this sure will be a MEMORABLE honeymoon AND World Series!!

Let's just hope it doesn't make it to a Game 7, cuz that's on Sunday, Oct. 31st at 7:30, the EXACT time of my flight home from Orlando!

Congrats on the wedding. Good luck. Yes, you should be able to watch the Sox in the Series. Make someone find it if it isn't planned. But they had a big spread for the Patriots (and Packers) playoff game this year on our Eastern in January. So you should be fine there.

Hope you are flying JetBlue or some airline with tvs just in case.

it is strange about Pedro. He just isn't the same pitcher as he was even a couple years ago. He will do well in the World Series though because it isn't the Yankees. Schill is amazing and a great pick up. Glad we got him
