Red Lion Hotel - how close to DL?

Hi All! trying to narrow down my hotel search & was wondering if anyone knew how far the walk from Red Lion hotel is to DL?

Also, anyone have a map(link) that shows where it is in proximity to other nearby hotels and such in the DL area?

Hello Again! I see you are looking elsewhere besides the QI. From my estimates it is about the same distance as the Quality Inn to DL but from the opposite direction. Someone who has stayed there may know better!

Hi Smiles! I'm also looking at LMT for deals and saw you mentioned Red Lion on my other thread and thought I would look into it.

Do you have a overall map that shows where it would be located?

Have you tried Google street view maps? That is how I always pick hotels in an area I don't know. That way I can "walk it" first.

This has the Red Lion on it as well as others around it...

My "guessimate" would be about 15 minutes from the Red Lion. We stayed at Hilton Anaheim (another block away from DL) and it took us 15 minutes to walk between the hotel and the parks, but we are (a) 2 adults with no children in tow, (b) fast walkers, (c) live in a higher altitude area, and (d) in quite good physical shape.

Hi, long time lurker, but I know this one...sort of....

We are staying at the Red Lion in May.

I called and spoke to someone at the front desk, and he said it's 300 yards. He said he does it in under 15 minutes, but of course, it depends a bit on how fast you walk.

We got a good deal on Priceline, so I figure if it's too much, we'll get ART tickets. One thing to know is that RL does charge a 15.00 a night parking fee if you're bringing a car. Hope that helps!

Anyone know where the Toy Story lot is in relation to RL? I read some reviews on TripAdvisor that some people also took the tram/bus from the Toy Story lot to DL or the hotel, esp. when tired at night.

Anyone have a map that shows where Toy Story lot is??? It didn't exist since the last time I have been to DL!

Thanks for the map Kryptonian! Do you or anyone know if we can hop on the tram/bus from that lot and ride it to DL or vice versa?

Anyone done this recently or is it frowned upon by CM's?

Yes, you can use the Toy Story buses without a problem. You'll enter from Harbor blvd. and you'll see where the buses are all lined up. Rarely a wait to get on a bus.
