Does anyone here use a Red Light Therapy mask? Do you find it helpful or is it a gimmick?

I'm considering getting one. I have some sun damage, dark spots, and i'm losing weight so I want to keep my face as firm and wrinkle free as I can. I'm 52 and have no wrinkles. I'm afraid the weight loss will age me.

So if you have one, do you recommend one?

If you have lost weight quickly, there is pretty much nothing you can do to stop wrinkles from forming.

I don't know anyone that has used the facial version, but our school trainers have one for injury treatment. It's supposed to reduce inflammation, pain and recovery time. They used it last year on my daughter several times for two separate injuries. In the early stages, she thought it might be helping, but decided it was more in her head than physically effective. Going to the PT was what worked. I realize you're using it for facial treatment, but since it's the same machine/tech, our feelings on it for injury may still be useful.
