red eye removal

Okay so in all the holiday stress I forgot to check the cameras setting (I must have been asleep for the 24th and 25th to not have noticed) so I have all these wonderful pictures but horibble red eye including the dogs. My whole family looks pocessed!!!! Help!!!!

Any pens or other tricks of the trade you can share would be wonderful. I want to get christmas scrapped by the end of jan! I have gotten about 12 pages done of xmas just not the "important" ones.

lesson learned CHECK THAT DANG SETTING!!!!! On the other hand walgreens had 10 cent prints that goes till the 5th. The only warning I have is the paper is HEAVY!! But they came out wonderful

I've never noticed Walgreens' to use heavy paper.

I edit my red eyes digitally. Have you already done all your prints?

Most scrapbook stores sell a 'Red Eye Pen'. Just dot on the red and it goes away.

I fix my red eye digitally as well.

Be careful when working with red eye pens (right Buffy?). I have very shaking hands and when I tried to apply the pen to the itty bitty part of the eye, my hand shaked and I bleached out part of the face.

If you have a steady hand, you'll be fine with a red eye pen because they do work great.

LOL, red eye lady! It's all good, I re printed the pic and used the red eye removal on the Walmart machine before I had them printed.

It's DH's fault anyway for looking straight into the camera.

My digi's were fine as I checked them when I ordered prints. It was my 35 mm one's that caused the panic attack. The pics from that camera can't be beat (i just have to remember to set the red eye thing.) I had one of those pens many years ago so I guess I'm off to the store this weekend to get another one.
and thanks for the tip Lisa I tend to be shaky at night (my only scrappin time) guess DH is going to learn to use that pen!!!!
Faerie our walgreens paper was some of the heaviest and nicest quality I've ever seen. this pics came out beautiful Now I have an excuse to buy a better trimmer!!!!

I may just be used to it - Walgreens is less than a half mile from my house so I get pictures there all the time. In fact, I placed an order and used the code for 10 cent prints last night for my crop tomorrow night
