Recreation package -VWL???

Hi everyone,

Can someone please confirm,

Is the recreation package that was being offered at VWL still available. I believe it was something like $100 for your length of stay and you could use all the recreation facilities unlimited for that amount per person. Such as boats, bikes etc.

Would like to know as we are planning another trip soon and would like to use this items if it comes as a package.

As of last month, the plan was still being offered. It was around $200 for length of stay. You could sign up 5 people on one contract, and each person is allowed to take out the item of their choosing. Surrey Bikes are not included.

You can rent:

Bikes (adult or childrens)
Water Mice
Canopy Boats
Pontoon Boats

If you have people who are going to be passengers on boats, but not captains, you don't have to list them on your contract. This means that if you have a party of 5 adults and 4 kids, you can list the adults and not the children (of course, it doesn't work if you want bikes, but you could pay the hourly rate for extra bikes). At one point we had 3 watermice and a pontoon boat checked out at the same time.

You are not limited on how often you may rent, but we were asked to check back in at the docks every 2 hours to make sure that no one was waiting for the boats. This was never a problem, and we definitely got our money's worth out of this program. HTH
