Thanks Lynn, it feels good to back in swing of running again. I've been doing it off and on since my 5K but not on a good schedule. So now i'm doing 2 miles a day (this week, anyways...) and I feel so much better! Looking for my next 5K....yay!!:yay:

Good for you getting out there and getting your steps in! I find getting out the door some days is the hardest part!

Yes, ran this morning as a matter of fact! :thumbsup2 I am doing the Tufts
10K in Boston in October with a friend of mine. Needed to have something on the calendar to work towards!

Yay you!!!:yay: I'm looking to sign up for my next 5K for the same reason...something to work towards....good luck with your race in October!!!:thumbsup2

Great to get caught up with you! Sounds like things are moving forward - wow its coming up isn't it! SO EXCITING!

How fun about best friends baby! My BFF is due 8/18 and when she goes into labor, I get the other baby (18mos) while they are at the hospital. I watched Ali (her daughter) be born and it was wonderful. But I'm more than happy to stay home and help keep Ali while they have this one.

Can't wait to hear Day 1 plans :)

The thought of a double wheelchair cracked me up! :rotfl2: Just when you thought you could get away from PUSHING something at WDW.

I do hope your sister can get out of the boot! It would be a big downer to have to deal with that....

I'm glad to read you are getting back into your running. I miss my long walks...just going around the block with this boot is exhausting!

That's so great you started running again. Running is definately not for me (horrible shin splints), but my older sis started running this year. I think she's done 3 or 4 5k's this summer! She's doing another one tomorrow. Her in-laws are huge runners (done a few marathons), so they kind of inspired her. I'll just stick to watching from the sidelines!

Awww I missed you too Kristen! Why are the boards keeping us apart lol?! That's so strange that you couldn't post on my thread either. I started my TR, maybe it will let you post on there, links in my siggy!!

I hope that your sis and mom will be ok for Disney. But either way like you said you are in Disney so you will have a great time :goodvibes I hope your shins start to feel better! Yay for getting back into running!!

Oh never mind I just went over to my TR and saw that you already found it and posted! Yay haha woo hoo thanks for reading

Kristen,
I am glad you are doing well. Summer is always a busy time. Keep up the good work on running/wogging.

It's SO exciting when a new baby is born!! Benjamin Charles was 6 lbs. 12 oz. and everyone is doing so well. He's adorable with a full head of black hair...too cute!! And my friend is doing great, doesn't even look like she had a baby!!! I hope your friend is hanging in there..it's getting close!!!!

Thanks Brook...I have to laugh about it, too!! Trust me, I had the same though of me pushing my Mom & my sister instead of the boys this trip!! LOL!! My sister is now in a air something or other?:confused3 How are you holding up with your boot?

I did 11 miles last week running/wogging, I impressed myself!!! It's SO good for my head (and my body!!)....it's my downtime from the kids, I do it at 5:30 a.m before anyone gets up and it starts my day off just right!!!:thumbsup2

Thanks Meghan!! I know, it feels good to be back into it! I have to wog a lot, my shin splints are starting to act up again, too!! I think any exercise is good exercise! Good for your sister doing the 5k's! Is she a new runner or just starting again?

Hi Lauren! So good to be back in touch with you!! Weird how things got?!! And you're right, we'll be in Disney, life is good!!:thumbsup2

Look at that ticker go! :thumbsup2

Hi Allyson!
My ticker is starting to fly now!!! WOOHOO!:woohoo: Thanks for signing that petition, I think that would be a really nice tribute to Austin.

Thanks for the luck!! I need it!!:goodvibes

Kristen,
I am glad you are doing well. Summer is always a busy time. Keep up the good work on running/wogging.

Hi! Thank you!! It's been SO HARD to find time to post! Thanks for being patient with me!!!:goodvibes

take 2!!!:sad2:

Hi guys!

Thanks for being patient with me, it's been a busy Summer and i'm finding it very hard to keep up with DIS!! Much to my dismay...lol!!:lmao: Hope you're all having a great Summer, now that the weather is cooperating and enjoying yourselves!!!

This week the older boys are in VBS in the mornings so Cole and I are enjoying some one on one time together, it's SO nice!! :cloud9: The poor third baby never gets that so it's been fun!:cutie:

I'm on serious countdown now....

48 days
4,147,200 seconds
69,120 minutes
1152 hours
6 weeks

9/14 DAY ONE!
10:23 a.m. land at MCO

12 noon arrive at Pop Century:yay:

lunch at Everthing Pop popcorn::

meet up with Jodi, she's driving down from SC, then we hope to get room, unpack, freshen up some.

2-3 p.m head to MK!!!! No plan here...other than just take it all in!!!:cloud9: We'll most likely do IASW, Mom use to ALWAYS take us there 1st as children, so it's only appropriate that we do the same with her!!!

5:50 p.m dinner at The Wave - can't wait to try this new place!!!:thumbsup2

8ish p.m head back to room after dinner for a good nights sleep!!:cloud9:

So, what do you think?:confused3

I'm still trying to decide on shoes and clothes. I've picked up some cute dresses for dinner on sale at Target and Kohl's, I'll try and take pics tomorrow to show you guys. I think it will be so fun to dress up a bit for dinner, with the kids we usually do out sit downs at lunchtime to take a load off for awhile in the A/C and chill some and do the counter service at dinner when everyone is tired.

No one has committed to Photopass. It's like pulling teeth to get anyone to commit.....I'm so use to being in control and they are killing me!! I'm talking with Jodi tomorrow during Cole's naptime, so I"ll pin her down one way or another!!

Mom still hasn't decided what do on the way up to Boston or home.:sad2: She was away all last week, so hopefully by weeks end I'll have that done too.......

Okay, Cole's making noise, naptime is over here!! Have a great afternoon!!

I think your plans look good! I like the "go with the flow" attitude about MK. We ate a lunch at The Wave (burgers) and really liked it. I hope you like it too!

My boot here is eh. I'm slowly loosing hope that it's doing anything at all, my ankle is still very swollen and I'm in pain most of the time - less pain though, so I guess that is good. One week, 2 days left to go, we'll see what happens!

Looks good -:thumbsup2

Don't forget Mickey's Philharmagic ... and that "let's go ogle Jack Sparrow/Johnny Depp " ride ... :rotfl:

Since you'll be at the Contemporary for dinner - if you're still going reasonably strong - you may also want to tour the GF and/or Poly ...

I pulled a calf muscle (again!!) playing softball - so no running for me the last couple weeks ... :headache:

Less than 50 days to for for both of us!!

I've heard great things about The Wave, I'm excited to check it out, new places are always fun to try!!

Oh Brook, I'm SO SORRY to hear you're not doing that great with your ankle and the boot isn't helping!?! :headache: Do you think you're on your feet too much to let it heal chasing a toddler? I can't even imagine. Sending pixie dust your way in hopes the next week turns things around for you!!!!:wizard:

You are SO RIGHT about Mickey's Philharmagic....that is the PERFECT show to see your 1st day in the MK! Thanks for reminding me!! Love that show and I'm not sure that Mom and Jodi have ever seen it! Great idea about touring GF/Poly...we'll have to see how Mom is doing and play it by ear (which is tough for me....I'd like to plan it!! LOL! but you wouldn't know anything about that, would you?).

Oh no about your calf muscle! That sounds VERY painful!!!! Sending you pixie dust, too, to have you healed up very soon!!!

Woohoo for less than 50 days!!!!!!!!!!!! :yay:
