Great plans! Grand Floridian Cafe is a great idea. It's nice and relaxing. Food is good too ..we love it there!

Oh how exciting!! You will be there about the same time we were last year. We loved our September trip and the free dining is just an amazing deal! Just be sure not to exhaust you dear mother. My mother works out daily, including boot camp, and DL exhausted her.

What about Kona or the Spirit of Aloha show on your MK day. They are both at the Poly so you could ride the monorail or boat. We did SOA in December and thought it was really nice.

What about lunch at Grand Floridian Cafe on your MK day? It wouldn't take too much time to get over there by boat or by monorail. Also, I don't know if you would want to do the Grand Floridian Tea. I have heard good things about both of those!

I was going to suggest the GF Cafe as well, or you could take the boat over to the Wilderness Lodge and eat at Whispering Canyon.

Okay, so going back and forth with Mom and Jodi over the last couple of days, this is what we came up with...let's hope I can stick close to plan when I call to do our ADR's on Tuesday morning bright and early!!

9/14 arrival day 10:23 a.m. land at MCO
12 noon arrive at Pop Century
lunch at Everthing Pop
hopefully get room, unpack, freshen up some and head to MK (about 2-3 p.m)!!!!!
hoping to get dinner ressies at The Wave 5-5:30 p.m.
head back to room after dinner for a good nights sleep!!

9/15 Epcot day- arrive about 9 a.m
12:30-1 p.m lunch at Tangerine Cafe
tour some more
head back to POP about 3 p.m to relax by the pool, have a drink and freshen up for dinner @ 7:30-8 p.m O'hanas.
9:30 fireworks from Poly beach from MNSSHP

9/16 MK day- get there 8-8:30 for opening ceremonies...(need tips, what time should I get there? where should we stand? never been so love some tips)
lunch at Terrace Noodle 12:30-1 p.m.
break late afternoon?
Dinner at 7 p.m hopefully KONA, if not, Grand Floridian Cafe (thanks for the ideas guys!!)
MK closes at 9 p.m so that will be it for this day, unless we feel like heading to DTD after dinner for a bit?

9/17 Epcot
opens at 9 a.m. will shoot for that time, get Soarin' FP 1st
lunch at Sunshine Season
WS in afternoon after lunch
dinner 7 p.m. Teppan Edo (if not, Le Celliar)

9/18 departure day, check out of room, have them hold luggage
DHS (opens at 9 a.m.) try to get there close to opening to get FP for Toy Story Mania
lunch at Mama Melrose 12 noon
leave about 2 p.m to head back to POP, assuming ME will p/u at 3 p.m for our 7:20 p.m flight.....

So....what do you think??

Haven't read much about the online ADR's....do you know much about them? I don't know if I could do it....I'm so use to doing it over the phone....more control, you know? LOL!!

Sounds like you had a busy weekend! Congrats to Ethan for learning to ride his bike without his trainers!! Does he like baseball? Both my boys play on competitive teams, so once March hits we are pretty much at a ballpark every weekend through July. It's exhausting sometimes, but can be so much fun too!

Thanks for the congrats for Ethan, being he's my 1st, it was a BIG deal for us, he took right to it and is a bike riding fool now!! He LOVES baseball...we have many years of it ahead of us I think with him and if the other boys follow....which I'm sure they will, Lucas took an indoor league this winter and really liked it too....I don't know how parents do it when they have more than one playing!! It must be tough for you!!!!

Figuring out The Plan is always the most difficult thing to do, isn't it?

I think MeMom is good onto something-and she's got just a few trips under her belt to be an ultimate planner. I think your Mom would LOVE watching Wishes from the Poly beach. It's beautiful and relaxing, and you can SIT. That is a huge bonus if ya'll are feeling a bit tired.

I hope you are able to get all the ADRs you want! LeCellier is so yummy-it's such a nice treat!

In one way I think a TS would be great for the last day-relaxing before the plane ride; and on the other hand, I think CS at DHS so you can get more in that day. We did highly enjoy the Studio Catering Company (overlooks the Honey I Shrunk the Kids Playground) CS. They have a baked chicken meal that is VERY tasty. I would go there again!
