recording device on the aquaduck

Has anybody recently been on the Aqueduck on the Fantasy and able to use a recording device while on the ride? I have a p&s cameras with an underwater case that I usually bring to the beach and would like to go on the ride and video record it. Does anybody know if this is allowed?

I believe they only allow GoPros with a chest strap, and there have even been reports of those not allowed recently. I don't think they'll allow you to bring anything that isn't attached to your body.

You will definitely not be allowed to bring a camera that you have to hold with your hands, I have seen several YouTube'ers lamenting that.
