I plan to come to Disneyland for a couple of days. I am looking for recommendations. I am looking for clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced for one night. I tried to scroll thru the threads to get some feedback but it's difficult to compare because we're all looking for specific things.

Almost everything within a 10 minute walk is clean and comfortable. What is a reasonable per night cost? Keep in mind bed tax is 17%.

Our family has stayed at the HoJo's, Carousel Inn, Tropicana Inn & Desert Inn & Suites.

Not sure what you're looking for. How many people? Great pool?? Free breakfast?? Free Wi-Fi?? Free parking??

HoJo's has a very nice pool & also a kids water play area, free parking, free Wi-Fi......super comfy beds & nice sized rooms. No breakfast.

Carousel Inn has comfy beds & free breakfast with the option of purchasing a hot breakfast option that comes from Quiznos. The Wi-Fi is not free & parking is Valet (you have to do the valet & it runs $8/day) Never saw the pool, so can't advise.

Tropicana had comfy beds & a decent sized pool in the middle of their parking lot. I don't believe they had free Wi-Fi. The offer a very small sampling for breakfast & parking is free.

Desert Inn & Suites has large rooms, great for bigger families. Parking is free, but very small lot. The have a small breakfast offering. The pool is inside & small & usually crowded. I don't know about the Wi-Fi.

Hope that at least gets you started.

One vote each for HoJo, Tropicana and Desert Inn. I share the same thoughts as DizNee Luver. Good luck!

Tropicana, great price, right across the street, the closest to Disneyland
they do have free wifi
free parking
rooms are clean and comfortable (but a bit small)
staff is nice, friendly, organized, and quick

We stayed at the Ramada Inn Maingate in November. Clean and comfy with no issues. Just a short, and I mean short, walk from the lights for the main entrance. We would stay there again.

we are at the Residence Inn Maingate right now and like it alot. It's very clean, the breakfast is outstanding, the pool is open 24hrs with quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am. They did my grocery shopping for me and left us a very nice welcome "basket" in our room when we checked in. We have a 1 bedroom suite, full kitchen, sleeps 6 for $189 breakfast included. We took the shuttle the first day it took 3 minutes to the gates. We plan to walk it tomorrow and are told it's 10 minutes to the gates if the Toy Story lot isn't open yet which is a 3 minute walk then we can get the shuttle from there for free.
