We haven't been to Disney World since 1981. Epcot was under construction. We would now like to see Disney World as adults - without children. What are some of the best restaurants, strolls, rides (not interested in roller coasters), leisure time, cruises, and other low intensity activities that you would recommend?
We have a week from a Monday through Saturday.
Last year we invited 8 of our friends to join us for our 2nd Anniversary at Disney. We are 45 and 48, the young 'uns of the group. They range from 55 to 64....some retired, some still working. They had a blast and they were Disney newbies for the most part. For a Romantic Dinner, we like the Bistro de Paris on the 2nd floor of France. It is a QUIET, intimate place, and the food is fabulous!
Where are ya'll staying? Artist Point in Wilderness Lodge is another nice restaurant and is just a boat ride from the Magic Kingdom. In MK, the Liberty Tree Tavern is really good "comfort" food. In DHS...we suggest the Brown Derby, in AK...Yak and Yeti (Asian). There are SO many to choose from, take a look at AllEarsnet.com to choose places and MAKE ADR's!!!!
For strolling...hit the beaches at the Polynesian. You can watch the Fireworks from there, the soundtrack is piped in and it is a peaceful evening.
We enjoyed "The Magic of our Steam Trains" tour at MK. It was very interesting, the CM's really knew their business and were quite cordial.
There are shows galore at DHS (the Studios) and AK (Animal Kingdom). Don't miss the 3D shows in each Park...Philharmagic (MK), Honey, I Shrunk the Audience (EPCOT), The Muppet Adventure (DHS) and It's Tough to be a Bug (AK).

When we took the 8 friends, we had them compete in a Photo Scavenger Hunt. This list will enhance your trip, even if you just do it together. The goal is to get a picture with each of the items. One of you in the picture is good, two is better (get a CM or guest to take it) and be creative! Our friends said they saw more of WDW than they would have without it and then they had a whole album of fun pics when they got home.
Take things at YOUR pace. For which attractions to visit...if you see something interesting...try it! There is a LOT to see, I think ya'll will really enjoy EPCOT...it's a neat place!
Have a Magical Trip!
