Hi,
I am wondering about bringing our own drinking cups on our next trip to Disneyland. I'm not a big fan of those paper/wax disposable cups that get squishy and lids pop off.

So, what is your favorite cup (with a lid) to bring to the parks and why?

** I am travelling with DS age 7 and DH.

I have a lot of double walled plastic cups at home, but I wouldn't bring any of them with me to DLR. I would probably opt for a water bottle rather than some type of cup. The water bottles usually have a cap and can often be attached to a belt loop, backpack, etc. Just note that the glass/bottle cannot be glass. You will still get the paper cups when you order your drinks because of health service rules, so you'll have to pour your drink into the container you bring.

I have a Camelbak double walled insulated bottle that I really like. It keeps things colder a little longer and is a little less prone to condensation on the outside.

We use contigo water bottles, the kid ones for my niece, a double walled stainless steel for me...

I take my brita bottle. I find that the water at disneyland gives me a stomach ache if I don't filter it. So, I get free water from CS spots or fountains and filter it wit5h my bottle.

I have a collection of Liberty Bottleworks bottles, and I will be bringing one with me on my next trip.

They are high quality, beautiful water bottles and they are made in the USA, so you're supporting the local economy as well by buying from them.

Those look great. I love that they are made in America. Do you know if there is a version with a filter? I'll definately pick up a couple for everyday use, but I have to have a filter at DLR.

We brought Camalbak insulated filtered water bottles with us to WDW this summer. We tried to fill up with water from CS where possible, but when it wasn't, it was good to have the filter to make the water taste better. We will be bringing them with us to DLR from now on.

I have to say I also love the Contigo metal cups. I bring that with me around town. It can stay in the car during 100 degree heat and still be ice cold when I come back to it. It is just a little heavier so I don't bring it in the parks.

Unfortunately not, Larina :( I agree, the water at Disney tastes kinda funny! You're probably on to something by bringing a filterable bottle!

Thanks for the great suggestions! Do you know if the contiguous bottles all have straws? I couldn't tell from the description. I'm a little Leary about straws due to cleaning issues.
