Recommended Disney Photogs?

I just got done talking to my DF about Disney's photography and some of the issues people have had with them. We've both agreed that there's just no way we can budget to have an outside photographer to do our wedding. So since we're going to be using DPS, can we request a specific photographer? And if you so, who would you recommend? TIA!

We used Randy Chapman for our wedding, but I did request a specific Disney photographer for our Magic Kingdom shoot. Disney was great about meeting our request. Our photographer left Disney in September, but I'm sure the ladies here can recommend some other Disney photographers. I got a contact for Disney photographer directly from my planner and then dealt directly with the photography department for all my requests for the MK/DHS shoot.

We had David and Vickie. We were very happy with our pictures! (When I start comparing them to some of the more artistic shots that you see on this board from some of the outside photographers I get a little bummed out, but on their own, I love them!)

i had a bad experience but I have seen good pics from vicki arndt, she is who we have requested when we do our magic kingdom reshoot

I highly recommend Mike Strickland. He was the photographer for my daughter's wedding this past May. He was wonderful and the pictures came out beautiful!!!!! He has been with disney for quite awhile and is very experienced. He was wonderful to work with.

I am not sure of the other photographers but I have heard nothing but great things about Amy.

We requested Ty and were very happy with the results.

We just had our site visit and were told we could now choose which photographer we wanted if we used Disney. Ty was the most popular we were told. We saw his pictures and they were fantastic. We are now not sure who we will use. We were going to go with Misty but DH likes the idea of having Disney do everything.

we had ty for our mk shoot and we were very unhappy and complained, this is after i saw great pictures on her from him and requested him to do our shoot.

Just becareful as your wedding is the happiest day of your lives and you dont want bad pictures, I cant even look at our MK shots as they make me cry when I look at them.

Just wanted to say that his pictures look great on the website they have launched but ours were no where near that standard so just be aware
