Recommendations

We're getting into MCO around 12:30pm and plan to br at the resort by about 2:00pm with a quick grocery stop Enough time for a quick beer and off to AK by 3:00. Can anybody make a recommendation for a dinner after AK that doesnt require ADR. We don't have a hopper and we're staying in the EPCOT area. Should we go to DTD or another resort? BTW -Children are 9 &11. Looking for suggestions.

Well, if you dont mind the wait, you could take your chances with the Rainforest Cafe which is right at AK. They don't take advance reservations, although if you register ahead of time at one of their locations, you can become a club member and can receive advance seating. You didn't mention if you want table service or counter service? If you are looking for counter service, I'd highly recommend Wolfgang Puck Express at downtown disney. They have great pizzas, pastas and salad! Also the Earl of Sandwich at dtd has the best sandwiches - the bread they make is really good and which sets them apart from "like" sandwich shops. I believe the ESPN restaurant at the boardwalk doesn't require ADR's either. Are you looking for disney restaurants? There are plenty of other non-disney that could work. Hope this was helpful!

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that Rainforest cafe was available to make a reservation on-line.

I just tried it and it seems to work.

I think the Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom closes when the park also closes. At least that is what the agent at ASMovies told us. So, we weren't able to go there. DTD's Wolfgang Express was one of our favorites!!!

At Downtown Disney, I would try to House of Blues. We never really have a problem getting in. If it is, I would try Earl of Sandwich
