Recommendations needed - I75

Looking for some recommendations for an overnite stay on our trip in April. Would be a Monday evening, late arival (around 10 pm). Looking for something for 5 adults in the area between Macon Georgia and Valdosta Georgia. More concerned with cleanliness and safety than price. Breakfast would be an added bonus, but not necessary.

All suggestions welcome. I do not know this area at all.

I've said it many times on here, on both of our drives, we've stopped at the Comfort Suites in Byron GA. that's just south of Macon.

Clean comfortable rooms, safe location with some nearby dining. Good breakfast included as well. Price isn't too bad either, for what you get.

Remember the key to safety is defensive driving. Plenty of clueless drivers speeding going 70+ mph on the highway.

I was just about to post this question We are driving from Columbus Ohio next weekend and DH just decided he wants to leave Saturday and do a 2 day trip. Are there any other recommendations out there?
