Recommendations for sit-down dining with Kids at Downtown Disney?

Whenever my family goes to Disneyland, for dinner...we usually like to have a sit-down-table-service dinner at a restaurant. At DC, we have no problem since there are many sit-down-table-service restuarants there. But with DL...we either go to BB or have dinner at one of the Cafeteria restaurants.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a restaurant in Downtown Disney that has a kids menu?

We've tried Naples...I don't really like the Rainforest Cafe......but wasn't sure how good that House of Blues or the Jazz Kitchen were.

I don't know the age of your kids, but we like ESPN Zone. Lots of stuff for the kids (or kids at heart) to do.

I don't know about Ralph Brennans Jazz Kitchen... To me it just doesn't scream Kid Friendly! How about Naples or ESPN Zone or Rainforest Cafe? :thumbsup2

I've heard that Jazz Kitchen has fantastic food, in fact some people swear it's the best food in DTD. However I'd agree that it's not really geared toward kids, although I'm sure they'd be fine there. I like the idea of ESPN zone. It's supposed to have very good food, too.

DS is only 4 years old. As long as they have a kids menu...and likely live music....which he loves to watch...then we should be fine.

When it comes to eating out...I don't mind something different...since over that 3 day period...we will be mostly eating the standard Disneyland junkfood.

Thanks for responding.

I don't really think those would be great with a 4 year old. If not the Rainforest (which is what I was gonna say) then I'd go with the ESPN Zone.

I have a better idea!!!! How about Storytellers Cafe for dinner... It is table service durring dinner... I know it's not in Downtown Disney rather it is in the Grand Californian Hotel. But just like the restaurants in Downtown you don't need park admission to eat there and you don't have to be staying at the DLR hotels either! After dinner you can return to Downtown Disney which is only a couple steps away... :thumbsup2
