We're going to Disneyland Oct 7-11. We're taking my friends 6 year old daughter with us because she wants to go to Disneyland so bad, but her mom just can't afford it. Since we were just at Disneyland a month ago for 2 weeks and we're going to Disneyworld in Jan for 2 weeks we're really trying to make this a budget trip.
We're looking for a clean hotel, close to the gate, or at least on the ART route. We don't need anything fancy but we need two queen beds. We'd really like a hotel that doesn't charge parking fees and outrageous resort fees, and would like to stay around $70/night with all taxes and fees. (Our dates aren't on HOJO, so unless that pops up, it's out for now.)
Secondly, I need to purchase one childs three day parkhopper. We have AP's but I need one for her. Where can I find one for the best rate. I've looked and it looks like Disney is cheaper than Getaway today. Are there other sites I should check?
Additionally, she's a girly-girl and I'm certain she'll see the princess dresses and want one (and it will be fun to dress her up!). Where is the best place to purchase them prior to coming to the park? I see they're $39 online at the Disneystore. Is this a fair price? Can I find them cheaper, while still being decent quality?
And lastly, what do most people do as far as souviniers/spending money for kids. My son is a pin collector, so we set a limit on pins and that's that. But this is likely the little girls only trip as a child, and we want to make it special for her, but not go overboard. I'm paying for her entire trip and ticket, buying her new shoes, and some disney shirts and sweatshirt at disney store ahead of time. I was thinking if I do the dress, buy a disney doll or stuffed animal ahead of time and give it to her in the hotel or park, and then let her choose Mickey Ears and one souvinier in the park, that would be more than sufficient, or should I set a spending limit and maybe give it on a disney card and once it's spent it's spent, or just say one small souvinier per day? (And obviously whatever I give to her for souviniers/spending, I would equally do for my own child, he's not getting more or less)

I think you should be okay.
