We're looking forward to what is turning out to be an annual February trip to WDW.

This time we are flying out of Buffalo, and I'm looking for recommendations on good park 'n fly hotels near the airport.

Our departure flight is very early in the morning (8am). So a good shuttle service would be important.

Do ANY of the hotels have park 'n fly in a covered / underground parking lot? Or is that asking too much?

We stayed at Hotel Indigo in Amherst on Nov 27th before our flight on the 28th and absolutely loved it and will return again!:thumbsup2

The staff were really nice and couldn't do enough for us and the rooms were fantastic with very comfortable beds and colourful bedding. Also they use Aveda products in their bathrooms!

The ride to and from the airport could not have been better!

We booked through the park n fly website.:thumbsup2:lovestruc

The buffalo airport parking has some underground areas. They might be hard to come by though.

I have stayed at both the Millenium and the Best Western. The Best Western always includes a continental breakfast (but they have a waffle maker which thrills my kids to no end) while the Millenium only offers a breakfast included sometimes. Check out Travelzoo and some other sites too for some good deals.

Some of the park and fly hotels are 20 minutes or more away from the airport. You'll want to pick one that is close by. So search their addresses. For instance although I stay at the Millenium it is almost a 15 minute shuttle bus drive. But they are accross from the Olive Garden and beside the Walden Galleria and have an indoor pool so I put up with it.

Just make sure that which ever hotel you choose that you phone the front desk to find out when the shuttle starts. If you are flying out at 8am you want to make sure the shuttle is working in the early hours. Then phone the hotel again a couple of days before you arrive to remind them you need an early shuttle time just in case. But you should probably be okay.

We stayed at the Sleep Inn right beside the airport, nice rooms and great free breakfast starting at 4:30 a.m.
There is no covered parking,as it is off site, but the shuttle starts at 5 a.m.
You can book it through their own website sleepinn.com, there are a few hotels on Geneesse street like the Holiday Inn and I think Howard Johnson's is still there. Google hotel/motel Buffalo airport to find more.
If your flight is at 8 a.m. plan on being in the security line up about 6:30 a.m. as it gets very busy around that time so get a 6-6:15 a.m. shuttle at the latest.
Enjoy the World!!

Thank you so much for the tip about arranging an early shuttle time to the airport, I didn't realize it would be busy early in the morning.

If none of the hotels offer covered parking, then we will likely just go with clean and close to the airport. (we were originally thinking about the Marriot Fairfield Inn or the Holiday Inn Express.....)

We've stayed HIE and you are literally across the street from the airport. The shuttle is very good, parking is outside, and they will provide a bagged brekkie (juice, banana, bagel) as I think the buffet starts at 7 or 7:30am so we always missed it.
