recommendations for brides hair

My daughter is getting married sept 4th at the WP. They gave us a list of cosmetologists that come to the room, but I would like to know who you have used or who has a great reputation for a good job. Thanks Laura

She and her assistant did hair for 5 of us and makeup for 6 of us. My bridal party was very diverse and she did a beautiful job on everyone (me - black and white, my caucasian mother and cousin, my Jamaican/Nigerian cousin, my East Indian friend and my Puerto Rican friend. I wanted everyone to have a natural romantic look. Not over done at all. And she acheived it.

I hired her after seeing Lurkyloo's hair and makeup in her engagement photos and seeing her website. Everyone thought she did a phenomenal job at my wedding. I was definitely impressed.

She was also very sweet and pleasant to work with!

Patricia charges $50 for hair and $50 for standard makeup ($60 for airbrush or mineral). She waives her $50 travel fee for coming to your resort when you do a trial run.

I'm using Beaute Speciale as well and these are the prices I was quoted only 3 months ago.

$65 Hair
$50 Short Hair and for children under 12 years old

Make Up Services:
$50 Make Up

$75 for Airbrush Make-up.

$30 Eyes Only
$10 For Pair of Eye Lashes

***There is not a travel fee if on Disney property***

Thanks to both of you (and I hope I didn't hijack this thread!)

Seems like similar prices. I would definately want to do a trial run first! I don't normally do my hair fancy or use make up, so I'll want to see what it looks like first! and do you need to show up with a plan for the trial run or will they try things and offer suggestions? I'd have no clue what to do with my hair!!

Have you picked out your tiara or headpiece yet? That's a good place to start. If you bring Ana your tiara she can tell you exactly what will look good with it!
