About to embark on our first trip!

I have reserved a Polar Patio for our BB day - wondering if anyone has a recommendation about which patio to request? Locations to avoid? (Note it is for a family w/ 2 tweens so being close to toddler attractions isn't necessary.)

If we arrive early/opening will we be able to choose our patio or should I call and make a request?

Thanks for your help!!

We reserved a cabana at TL, and we were not allowed to pick it (though I didn't try either). It was already assigned when we got there. I was very happy with the experience and would certainly do it again! Have fun!

Honestly I reserved it 170 days ago so I am having trouble remembering exact figures but I think it was $300+tax, all due up front. My understanding is that if the park closes due to weather it is fully refunded. It gives you a private area, cooler, bottled water, a waiter and towels for the day. If you have more than 4 (or 6 can't remember) people you pay a small fee for the extra folks.

Thanks for the feedback twodogs!! Not having to pick is almost easier at this point, I am ready to just roll with it and enjoy the vacay!

When you call to make the reservation, you could certainly mention that you don't need to be by the little kids' area. I think there is a thread on here somewhere that actually shows the cabanas by number at the water parks, and you might even be able to request by number. I think the easiest might be to just give them a general location of the water park that you plan to spend time in, and they may be able to put you in one close to that part of the park. One other issue we noticed is that the smoking areas tend to be on the perimeter of the parks, and can be near to some of the cabanas. This was something I wanted to avoid, so I mentioned it when I made the reservation.

That is a great tip - thank you! We do not want to be near the smoking areas!! I hadn't even thought about that! Thanks again!
