Recommendations for an 18 month old

This will be the second time we have taken our son to Disney, the first time last year and he was 5 months old. This time we are very excited!! Can anyone make any suggestions on things that their little ones around this age really enjoyed??? A few things we are definately doing are the Character Breakfast at Chef Mickey (already have the reservations), MGM Studios, and we will see Playhouse Disney there, since we watch it every morning, and also Magic Kingdom.

Any suggestions would be GREAT!!!

We took my son at 14 months (he is 9 now) and he loved the world showcase. Lots to look at and a slower pace/ less crowded areas made it a hit. Also I have some fantastic photos, one of him being held by Mary Poppins even! He also loved the play ground at MGM (Bug's Life, I think). He liked looking at everything, everywhere we went. We used a backpack carrier (we also took him on many hikes, so we were used to it) and it was wonderful. So much easier than a stroller to get through crowds with. Ours had two wheels so you could also push it if you needed a break.

We have taken two of the 3 kids as early as 15 months (our oldest had to wait till she was 30 months for the first trip) and they loved everything. Dumbo was a big hit, Small world was a big hit. The Living Seas was a big hit. Breakfast with Pooh was a big hit. The electric parade was also great with all the lights. We also found at that age they were less likely to be “scared” of things, we had to be more cautious when they hit 3 and 4. Enjoy!
