can anyone recommend a sun hat they wear in the summer to the beach or park?

I got the "Packable ladies Raffia straw hat" on Amazon. I love it. Cuter than picture and it can be packed and it does retain shape. $ 27.86

Sold by north avenue. Fulfilled by amazon

Sorry I am having trouble copying link on iPad.

Mine is from Dicks sporting goods its a safari style with a strap I love it wear it to park, beach and in the pool!! have gotten a lot of postive feedback on it as well! and a FYI I have Very thick hair these hats come in dif sizes and are adjustable depending on hair style of day!!

I have a coolibar velcro adjustible reversible cotton hat that I love because I can pack it and it still looks good.

I have two basket-woven sunhats from Kohls' accessories department going on five years now. It was inexpensive (on sale/with coupon) and because it's woven polyester, it doesn't get crushed. I think it said "uncrushable" on the tag.

I keep one folded in a seatback of my car and the other stuffed in my beach/pool bag.

I second the scala hats. I wear mine all summer long. I love how I can just roll it up and throw it in my suitcase without bending anything out of shape.

I like Tilley Endurables. Expensive, but they last forever. All of their hats, with a few exceptions, are replaced free if they ever wear out (you pay $7.50 shipping in the US). If you lose your hat or it is destroyed, you can get a new one for 50% off. All of their items are made in Canada (except one type of socks and a water bottle, made in the USA).

After reading about the Scala hats on here and reading the reviews on Amazon I decided to find one of those hats. I found them at TJMaxx yesterday. They were $14.99 and had a bunch of colors (4 different shades of blue, pink, green, orange, khaki, black, brown, etc.). They are cute, it's hard to decide which color:)

I got a big floppy sunhat from Kmart a couple years ago. It was only $2. I'd like something more fashionable, but I haven't yet found the perfect hat. :)

We've just returned from the World where they were selling packable/crushable sun hats, spf 50. These were available from various kiosks around the International Showcase and were made by the San Diego Hat Co. Really nice, large brims to keep the sun off your next/shoulders.
