My husband and son are going to a Magic game one night, so my sister and I are going for a girls night. We're looking for somewhere with yummy dinner and perhaps adult beverages, but not in a park. We're 25 and 29, pretty laid back and eat just about anything. I was thinking maybe downtown disney so then we can walk around when were done, but we're open to anything we can get to using Disney transportation (DH will have our rental car.) Looking for something that is preferably one TS credit, as I have a couple I haven't booked ressies for, but would also be willing to pay oop for somewhere great. My sister lives in a different state and we rarely have time together, let alone without my son, so we're just looking to have fun and enjoy our time! Thanks for any suggestions!!!

Not sure what you want to spend, but I've heard Fulton's is really good if you like seafood. I haven't been myself (yet). Read reviews and look at menus on allears.net.

If you're okay with going to a resort, Jiko's (Jambo House) or Saana (Kidani), both at AKL, have good food, and afterward you can walk around and view the animals :thumbsup2.

I think that Kouzzina at the Boardwalk fits all of your requirements. I loved our dinner there and thought that the restaurant had a really fun and celebratory atmosphere.

You would definitely have a great time at Raglan Road if you are interested in DTD...but if you go to the Epcot resort area you would have more variety/things to do after dinner...Kouzzina and Flying Fish would both be fun and have tasty food/drink.

Dinner at Kona (Polynesian) and then do a monorail tour of the bars at GF, CR, and Poly.

Regardless of where you eat, consider going to Jellyrolls after dinner. It's easiest if you eat at a World Showcase restaurant, walk over to the Boardwalk after for some Jellyrolls time, then head home from the Boardwalk - they usually have buses to resorts late at night. Anyhow, for a girls' night out, you'll be hard pressed to find more fun on Disney property than Jellyrolls!

Take bus from Pop to HS and boat from there to Swan/Dolphin. Pay oop for either Bluezoo or Il Mulino. Both are better than DDP restaurants. Walk over to Jellyrolls/Boardwalk after dinner. To save time, I would suggest a cab from Boardwalk to Pop after Jellyrolls($15), rather than bus to DTD for transfer to Pop. Have fun!!

I would definitely go to the Boardwalk area.. They have so MANY great restaurants and a great fun atmosphere.. I personally love the restaurants at the swan/dolphin and then walking next door to the Boardwalk.. I think its a fun time..

I vote for Kona followed by "bar hopping" around the monorail resorts and finishing it off with dessert at Cali Grill :-)

Start out at Bongo's, DTD. Have a mojito (or two or three) and then mosey on over to House of Blues for dinner. Finish off with a late showing of La Nouba.

Thank you for all of the replies!!! We're looking over the menus now and seeing where we can/should make a reservation! I appreciate all of the help!

I would recommend the Boardwalk area as well; Flying Fish, Kouzzina. After dinner you could venture over to Epcot via the back entrance for the 9:00pm evening fireworks/display as well as to walk the countries (the circle). It really is a relaxing thing to do with a family member or friend without the hectic pace of trying to get on rides and attractions. I did this with a friend last year and it was so nice. We ended up at the French bakery for some dessert and coffee of course!

(If in Epcot you could also go to Les Chefs de France for dinner. I know it gets some so so dining reviews but we have eaten there three times on the dining plan and enjoyed it everytime.)

Enjoy.
