Hi all,
I have a 6 year old boy and a 3 year old boy. I was wondering what fun shows or restaurants my 6 year old would love. This pirate cruise sounds cool. We have eaten at Ohana's, Chef Mickey's, etc.
I actually think he would enjoy a Princess breakfast! I would love to hear your ideas for something fun for him. We are staying at BWV and will not have access to a car. We are going in March...

We just got back with our 6 yr old. It was the best trip for him, yet!

The princess breakfast could go either way. One the one hand take him now before he's like my 10 year old who was so mortified that he practically ate under the table. On the other hand, it could be too late. We were just there and saw Belle and Aurora in France all by themselves. My son didnt want to meet the "girls" but Belle and Aurora approached him and spent the best time with him and took lots of posed pictures, including a double kiss. Well he demanded that we tell no one and when he caught me showing the pics to my mom he freaked! (Of course I loved the whole thing and think its the magical moment that keeps on giving) So, I'll just cross my fingers for you.

Be sure and dine a the Coral Reef in Epcot. The food's not the greatest, but arrive early and ask to wait for a tank side table and you wont care what they feed you. Your kids will have their noses to the glass the whole time.

He LOVED the Lights Motors Action show at MGM and every parade we caught. We waited for the MK parade on the circle in front of the castle and he had a ball playing with the other kids and the CM's.

Here is what our kids have liked...my 3yr old son has to go along for the ride...so here are his impressions. He has been to CRT 3 times. He likes the princesses...loves Snow White b/c she kissed him on the forehead and every ride he got on after that the CMs would say I bet SW kissed you! His favorite ride was Buzz Lightyear of course. Another good character meal is 1900 Park Fare. It had Alice(in Wonerland) the Mad Hatter(very funny!!) and Pooh, TIgger and Eyore. Great food, and fun characters. He loves all the rides he is tall enough for(he was 40inches our last trip) we are going to do the dinner at Park Fare this trip and that one has Prince Charming. He has started loving Peter Pan in the last few weeks too. We also love Coral Reef. The kids always have a good time watching the fish, sharks, turtles, and sometimes divers. Have a magical trip!

My kids' favorite ride was Test Track.we also took a wishes cruise that they still talk about. They loved eating with their favorite characters. My Dd6 also enjoyed some downtime just playing in Toontown.

We love to eat at Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge. It is loud. The kids have stick horse races around the dining room. My 6 year old loves to stand in his chair and yell for ketchup--its the only way to get it.
Lots of fun to eat there. Check out this link for more info on it.

Take your family on the Family Magic Tour at MK. You have to reserve it through 1-407-WDW-TOUR It's $27. per person and it's a romp through the Magic Kingdom with a treasure map (and a very knowledgable CM ;) ) for ages 3 and up. Big surprise at the end of the tour!

I have 6yr old girl princess: 4 year old boy :earboy2: and 2year old girl princess: . We just got back Dec 11. My kids loved the fantasmic show (is that what it is called? The nighttime show at MGM?) I originally was not going to take my 4 year old because he does'nt like scary villains and I certainly did not want to wait 60 minutes to see a show, but we walked right in 15 minutes before the show and they loved it! It is very LOUD, so if that bothers them beware! They all loved Spectromagic, Philarmagic, Chef Mickey breakfast and running after the characters with their autograph books. I thought there were a lot more characters walking around this time, but where oh where is Jasmine? Could'nt find her at all!

My six year old son loved ohana, chef mickeys, crt for dinner(no princesses) and whispering canyon(enjoyed playing with the lincoln logs while waiting for lunch) and surprisingly Chefs de france(his favorite meal)- he just loved the food there.

We went last February with my DD6 and DS3. My DD & DS absolutely loved Mickey Philharmagic at MK. My son said more duck...more duck! It is a really neat 3D show. They loved all of the parades. We did not like Tarzan Rocks, it wasn't much like the movie at all. We didn't like the Indiana Jones either. Fantasmic is really neat. Make sure you see the fireworks at MK looking at the castle it is really magical. The lion King show at AK is very good. I was worried my 3 year old would not do well at disney and he did great! I think he did better than my 6 year old. He figured out if he waits he gets to do something fun....he had a blast! We loved the Peter Pan ride, Winnie the Pooh, and Buzz Lightyear.

I wouldn't park hop, if I were you. It just takes to much time to get back & forth. I wouldn't pack Pj's either. I would take sweats...they double in chilly weather. I wish I would have done that & put my son in them at night...no waking up sleeping child to put on pj's. Plan meals in the areas where you plan on being for the day. Do not go on the Star Tours Ride after eating!
My DD got sick in the middle of the night...yuck! Take advantage of baby swap for your 3 year old. Get fast passes! It saves a lot of time waiting in line. Character meals are a nice change of pace. It doesn't cost that much more & you get to sit & relax a while. We like the Crystal palace w/ pooh...great food. Princess at the castle was good too. Mickey was fun...but pricier and not as good of food.

Have fun! :cheer2:
