Hi I'm trying to find a 1 month rental for my parents to stay in Orlando for the month of Feb. They are in their 70s but enjoy walking around the parks and want to get away from cold NY for the month of Feb. Ideally in a 2Bdrm villa-within-a-resort type of rental, so there is a pool, clubhouse etc but staying within a budget of under $2000 for the month. I'm searching on VRBO now but there are so many options I just need help narrowing down locations. Regal Oaks, Westgate, Emerald Island etc

They will have a car and do not rush around so proximity to Disney isnt such a factor..but I don't think they want to be so far from civilization - they would need to go food shopping, Walgreens etc.

Thanks for any advice

Emerald Island is close to WDW. So is westgate - but would not stay at westgate.

now I have only lived here for a little while (since Sept) but so far nothing is far from a drug store or grocery store.

Lake Buena Vista Resort & Spa

there are several others also

Check out Bahama Bay Resort, about 5+ miles SW of WDW. We have stayed there several times and really like it. The prices are pretty cheap. They may want to request a ground floor condo as the buildings do not have elevators. Walmart and other stores are about a mile or two north.

My parents are also in there 70 ' s have you thought about a rental in the Clearwater Beach area right on the Gulf of Mexico .There is a large strip of different beaches for Clearwater beach to st pete beach with smaller beaches in between like Treasure Island,Redington Shores ,and Madeira Beach .My parents love the beach and it about an hour and 40 minutes away from Disney .They have a nice bus that goes from Clearwater Beach to St Pete and stops at all the beaches in between so they could leave the car and go for walks on the different beaches .Very easy to get to stores and restaurants. Yet still make trips to the Disney area when ever they wish .My parents usually only come for a week so they just stay in hotel but I know there is a lot of rentals along the beach
