I am looking to find a good place for 12-14 adults (plus one infant) to have an early dinner at one of the resorts. Any recommendations would be great.

I LOVE 'Ohana - but I haven't tried may other places - and I have never been the 'Ohana with more than four people - Do they have a good space for such a large group?

Any ideas for additional locations would be greatly apprecaited.

thanks
Laura

I have never gone with a group that large, so I am sorry but I really haven't paid attention to who has tables big enough. I'm sure alot of restaurants could put tables together for you.

Have you thought about contacting the grand gathering people. I believe that dining is one of the things they should be able to give suggestions about for large parties. As far as places I enjoy, I really like cape may cafe, It is a buffet so the you won't have to wait on food which is good with a little one. Its at the Beach club, which also has beaches and cream if you want a little dessert after dinner. Good luck.

'Ohana does offer seating for a group of 14. I would call disney dining and asked to be transferred to group dining II do not have the direct #) and they can help you with your dining plans.

We did 'Ohana's with a large group of 14 two summers ago and it was great. They will essentially place several tables together, likely in the middle section of the restaurant in front of the open-air kitchen. I think it's great for large groups.

With large groups, we've also eaten at Chef Mickey's, Rainforest Cafe, Liberty Tree Tavern, Le Cellier, ESPN Club, and Big River Grill on the Boardwalk. Of those restaurants, only Big River Grill (ironically, the smallest of the restaurants listed) seated us together (it was for lunch, however, and the place was pretty empty). All other locations sat us at two or three tables next to one another.

Be prepared to separate. Disney has been pretty good for us in the past about seating our large groups at tables near each other.

We had breakfast at Ohanas with 10 people...most meals we ate down there were with 10 people, and we never had any issues with space or being separated....I'd say go with more what you're interested in eating rather than considering the size of the party. Have fun!
