Recommendation for Date Night?

My DH and I will be staying at the GF for 2 nights for a quick weekend trip. We love California Grill (have been several times) so we will be eating there for dinner our first night. Where would you suggest eating our second night? I'm not really sure what we're looking for if we just want to have another nice meal or something different/ more unique. I've though about Narcoosees, Citricos, STK paired with Amorette's for dessert and maybe walking around/ movie, Monsieur Paul, Via Napoli paired with eating/ drinking around the world, Cinderella's Royal Table, Wine Bar George, and even Beaches & Cream. I don't think Victoria & Alberts is our thing- pickier eaters and too maybe too formal. Since I'm all over the map, I'm just wondering what you would choose for meal/ evening activity?

We go to WDW often as DVC members but we are usually with my family on our trips.

Narcoosees consistently gets great reviews and it a harder reservation to "get" than Citrico's.

I read last week that STK is really loud.

If you're looking for steak and not lots of kids, Shula's is great; you could walk over after Epcot then Uber back to the GF.

Since your first night is a CG, I do like the idea of MP's and an Epcot evening.

Bull and Bear is by far the best restaurant on property (aside from V&A)

Narcoossee's, hands down. We ate there for the first time a few weeks ago, and it was the most memorable reservation of our trip! The food was outstanding, and the atmosphere of standing out on the patio on the water and watching the fireworks is incredible.

Editing to add, we had a miserable time at STK. Our service was the worst we've had, and the steak was fine. The atmosphere is definitely more of a DJ dance party vibe instead of a quiet romantic date night.

Wow, that's really sad. I don't disagree with your assessment of STK, but i'd find it hard to be miserable at a high end steakhouse in disney springs on vacation. Definitely could be worse.

I mean, yeah, it could be worse. But can't you say that about 90% of your experiences? I don't think it's an entirely fair assessment to say we couldn't have been miserable there. When you're paying $50+ per person just for an entree, you expect a little bit. Our service was worse than what you'd get at a diner on the side of the road. So it was a pretty miserable experience, especially given the price.

Citricos has my vote. The location/view is incredible and I had the best pasta in my entire life there. I still dream of it 10 years later.

For a date night, i'd go to disney springs. I like your idea of going to STK paired with Amorette's for dessert. Or better yet, Ghiradelli's. OMG the best sundaes ever! It'll be nice to walk around after dinner/dessert. They have some pretty neat performers at Dis Springs in the evenings too. A lot of really good talent there. Plus shopping! And if youre in the mood for a drink, grab a seat at the bar at Raglan Road and watch the Irish Celtic dancers. Sure, not romantic. But its FUN. Which is what you want to do on date night right? Save the romance for the bedroom.

Bull and Bear is by far the best restaurant on property (aside from V&A)

Certainly agree with Bull & Bear. We are local and dine there probably once a month.

Minor quibble though, B&B is not on property. It just seem like it is because it is so close, but its actually on property owned by someone else.

I'd go for an Epcot option, this way you could have a nice dinner, enjoy Illuminations/Epcot Forever/Harmonious, then maybe walk over to the Boardwalk area and enjoy a drink somewhere or even go to Jellyrolls which is just so much fun!

If you have park tickets, I would go with Tiffin's.

Here's the date nights we've done in the past year:

• Yachtsman Steakhouse for dinner, then walk around BC over to Boardwalk for dessert and drinks. I really enjoyed Yachtsman and felt it was a nice, relaxing meal with great service and great filet. Others have said Shula's beats them for steaks. I'd look at either for a steak dinner.
• Grand Floridian Cafe for dinner, then walked to the Poly for cocktail and watched the fireworks from outside.

I think only one's I'd avoid of your choices would be STK and Cinderella's Royal Table. Neither of those say 'romantic night out to me'.
