Hi can anyone recommend a good travel insurance company? I need one that will cover travel abandonment if we can't get to Disney if Eurostar doesn't run.

Every company I look at has terrible reviews when it comes to claiming!!

Might be worth looking at your bank account.
I was not particularly happy to pay the bank to hold my money but after encouragement from SIL did the sums.
We get annual travel insurance, mobile phone ins, car breakdown at a lower cost than single trip. So I sucked it up and pay for a platinum account.
Had to claim for DS lost backpack which was through the underwriters AXA. Expected problems but claim was paid out after 4 weeks of submitting evidence :)

I always use M&S - they've always been very helpful when I've telephoned, and have just agreed to cover us for no extra charge for something on our next holiday. BUT I haven't had to claim yet (fingers and toes crossed as I type :wizard: ) and that's a big but, isn't it. :confused3
