Recommend Some Netflix Comedies (Or Dramas, If You Must) For Summer Viewing

Catastrophe is good but not sure it's on Netflix. I use to watch it on Amazon Prime but I recently saw an ad for it on Hulu or Netflix (can't remember). It's a 30 minute show that is acted by the two writers of the show (one British and one American). They have a one-night stand, she gets pregnant, and they decide to make a go of it. It's a sarcastic kind of humor. The shows other characters are pretty funny. The late Carrie Fisher makes an appearance here as the mother of the American character. I liked it well enough. It has two seasons to it and not a lot of episodes within the seasons.

I also enjoy Veep but you kind of have to like politics for that one.

I have watched the entire season of The Office an embarrassing number of times. I wish I could find another series I liked as much as that one.

The IT Crowd! British comedy but it is roll on the floor funny!

Swing and a miss! I watched 10 minutes of this show last night, couldn't get into it.

LOL, I haven't given up on them. This is perhaps a story for another thread, but...

Since they won the WS last year, I kind of feel as if I have reached the top of the mountain, so to speak, as a baseball fan. "Where does a Cubs fan go from here?" I asked myself. I'm not going to declare myself done with baseball - indeed, I'll bleed Cubbie Blue until the day I die, and I'll probably start paying more attention as we get deeper into the season. But since April, I've been all about soccer. I've watched several MLS and EPL games, whereas I've only watched a few pitches of baseball.
