My 5yo ds loves Mario Kart, any of the Lego games (Batman, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, & Harry Potter) and Super Mario Brothers.

He just got Super Mario Galaxy 2 for Christmas... and it looks like that will be a favorite too!

...and they aren't just "boy" games, my 9yo dd plays all of them as well!

We got Wii for Cmas and my DD7 is hooked on the Wii Sports Resorts games it came with. We did also get her the Build a Bear game and Barbie 3 Musketeers, but we haven't even opened them yet. We are having too much fun bowling

Our DD (just turned 5, had Wii a year now) loves to play Mario Party. It is not a game she can play by herself, but she is really starting to get the strategy of it!

DD also loves bowling (I think it came with the Wii)

We just got Disney Guilty Party, so far good to play with Mom and Dad.

DD loves Just Dance. She got Just Dance 2, but we haven't opened it yet.

DD also got Scooby Doo First Frights (haven't opened yet). It gets good reviews on Amazon and is cheap.

If your DD has Dora, don't get Diego. I heard they are pretty much the same.

I think that MarioKart is a great game for kids- they get to play and there's really no stress that comes with having to defeat enemies and losing lives. My kids really enjoy playing it

Santa just brought a Wii this Christmas. I asked for Just Dance and I think DD7 has played it even more than I have. She also received the Tangled game and played that for hours yesterday.

We just bought a Wii for Christmas as our family gift. So far the kids love Toy Story Mania and Just Dance Kids. Even our 2 year old will dance with the other kids to the just dance game, so he feels like he is involved. Our older two are DS(6) and DD(4).

Toy Story Mania and Just Dance!

We just opened Toy Story Mania tonight. It was a huge hit with DD who will be 5 in February. We played it for over 2 hours. The best thing was that she is not that great at video games, and she didn't need that much help with it. Some of the scenes were very similar to the ride at DHS, and she kept saying "It's like we're at Disneyworld!".
