Please tell me which restaurant I should make an ADR for on Disney property. It will be for our honeymoon and we are looking for a quieter romantic place with good food and hearty portions for the price. Thanks for all your help!

Le Cellier at Epcot is very nice. I know you said quiet but remember this is WDW and even the nicest places will have kids and larger parties in attendance! That said, Le Cellier was one of our most relaxing and delicious meals we had last time. There is also California Grill but I thought the food was better at Le Cellier and found CG to be very noisy. But the view was awesome. Shula's at the Dolphin (or is Swan?) doens't have kids meal and is very pricey so I would assume that would be pretty quiet. But also very expensive. You might want to check out all the menu's on www.allearsnet.com They will list prices as well. Have a wonderful honeymoon!

I agree with Amy & Dan. I also think O'hana and WC were good. :stir:
That is just mean :goodvibes . I do love the food at O'Hana's  , but I do not think it would suit the romantic mode at all. Coral Reef is nice.

thanks for all your suggestions, I was talking w/ fi and we'll probably eat at LeCellier. We already have an ADR for Coral Reef. I think we are going to come back 20lbs heavier than when we left :rotfl2:

We always do, because you just have to have appt, entree, & dessert. Oh & dont forget the drinks ;)

If I were planning a romantic dinner I'd choose a more upscale restuarant. Some of my favorites are Jiko at the Animal Kingdom Lodge (excellant menu and great atmosphere), Bistro de Paris at Epcot (no published kids menu, quiet and romantic) or the ultimate Victoria and Alberts (pretty expensive but well worth it and the most romantic setting I've ever been in. I was afraid the food would be to "foo foo" but it was THE BEST). Other good choices would be the California Grill and Artist Point at the Contemporary and the Wilderness Lodge respectively

The "hearty portions" caveat rules out the most obvious choice: V&As. :) Having said that, I just have to say I'm really down on Le Cellier; I know a lot of people love it, but... In terms of steakhouse, I like the Shula's suggestion instead. I'd also throw Citricos into the mix.

This was one of most romantic meals DH and I have ever had. We waited for a patio table and got one right on the water. Ordered cheese and fruit, salad and wine, had a nice dinner, then dessert and coffee. Just as dessert was ending Illuminations was beginning and we had front row seats. We actually ordered another coffee when it was over and waited for the crowds to disperse. The walk back to the hotel was amazing; it was so romantic walking through World Showcase at night when the place was relatively empty.

It was suggested to us to get a 7:30-45 ADR in order to attempt to get a patio table. At that seating time you are allowed to stay and watch Illuminations.

This was my thought, too.

hmm...so many choices...now that Rose and Crown thing sounds pretty good. I'll have to see what my fi wants to do. He is kinda sick of me asking him about adr places
