I am searching for a good dual screen portable dvd player, and reading the reviews, there does not seem to be ANY good ones. :lmao: everyone is pissed about the one they bought. :confused3

Does anyone have one that they would recomend? :worship:

I just bought a Disney dual screen DVD player off Ebay from a buy it now auction . The total price was $92 and some change included in that was shipping. I know they retailed alot higher but the the Pirate and Tinkerbell one has been discontinued, so their alot cheaper than they are at the store. Just look for a good feedback seller. We gave it to the DGC as an early Christmas gift for our up coming trip to WDW. Its a great item and the kids love. :thumbsup2

I also bought the disney dvd player off ebay and highly reccomend it. The previous one we had broke after a few uses. The disney dvd one is going strong

I bought the Disney DVD player from Target last year when they had it on sale and it is still going good. My dd watches it almost every day in the car.

I, too bought the Disney DVD player. We were making alot of trips back and forth from NC to Texas so we needed some entertainment for our 3 boys. This dvd player didn't let us down! We are about to use it again for our trip to WDW in a couple of weeks! :thumbsup2

It is worth every penny you pay for it. :goodvibes

I bought a sony dual player about 4 years ago. It was so bulky and started acting up about a year after I bought it. Then a while back I bought the Disney dual player and the kids love it and it is very easy for my 5 and 8 yr old DD's to use. I would highly recommend it ( and not just because I love all things Disney :lmao: )

Glad to read the good reviews about the dual Disney DVD player. We bought one in May and haven't had any problems with it. After buying it, I did read some bad reviews on Amazon, ie not working after just a few months. So, it's good to hear about all the ones still working.

One thing about the Disney DVD player I don't like is the fact that it can't be charged. We were planning on taking it on the plane with us last week and realized that it couldn't be charged.

I had been looking for a good dual screen DVD player for a long time. I read many bad reviews. Finally, this week, I bought Philips PET726 off outlet.philips.com. It is factory renewed, $130. On amazon.com it is $200 new. I can't say if it is any good yet though. It seems like a good deal to give it a try.

I bought the disney set in april and June I brought it back b/c one monitor stopped working the one I got when I exchanged it didn't even last that long and I haven't brought it back yet b/c I don't know that a third one will be any better. I have seen mixed reviews and decided to bite the bullet and get the set and now I just don't know what to do so if you get the disney one what ever you do don't get rid of your receipt sadly I have heard not so good results if you have trouble after the return period is up at target w/ the manufacture company.

We bought one at Target that stopped every time the car hit a bump. It did not restart where it left off but returned to the beginning--very frustrating. We returned it to the store 2-3 weeks after purchase (we got it for a trip and returned it once we got back) and they charged us a 15% restocking charge since it was opened. We fought paying restocking on a faulty product but they would not budge. We do not buy electronics from Target since they do not stand by crappy products. I do not remember what brand it was.
If you have a laptop, let your kids watch videos on it. The screen is usually much bigger and the sound better.

thanks everyone! Still not sold on one brand over the other, I guess whichever one we end up buying, we will definately buy the extended warranty.

I bought one of Best Buy’s store brand ones because I could get an all hazard warranty for 2 years for about $45, it seams to work fine and with 2 young boys the warranty is the most important thing.

We bought an Axion one off Newegg and it has been superb. Screens mount beautifully behind the front seats as long as the headrests slide out. You mount them to the bars of the headrest that slide into the seat. Perfect mount.

We have had it almost a year without any problems at all. The nice thing about them is you can hook up gaming systems to them as well. Xbox, sony etc. They also have a seperate antenna you can buy to pickup over the air TV if you want. The case they come with is handy as well.

If you go to newegg.com and search for Axion Twin monitor it will come up. Has been a great investment for us.

Id link it but I dont have enough posts.
