Recommend a Disney D.J.

I know I have seen a thread about this before but I was wondering which DJ did you have and can you call and request a certain one? Thanks...

we used charles miles he was awesome, his website threw me but he was so good he talked to us on the phone ahead of time to learm likes and dislikes and any special requests, he was alot of fun and a great dj!!

We are using DJ Scooter. I contacted him prior to our wedding after reading some great reviews and had him pencil us in since Disney doesn't assign the DJ's until closer to the wedding. He told me that since he does other events besides Disney that if someone else booked him for the same day he wouldn't be able to be at our wedding. I then sent the request to my planner. At our planning session Disney confirmed that we would have him and he sent us an email asking for our requests etc.

We're using Scott Messina, who seems to be extremely well known throughout Disney and was specifically suggested by our planner to be a great match for us! So far he seems fantastic to work with!

We also had Dj Miles...we actually requested him through our planner and then contacted him so that he did not book that day. He was phenomenal. Disney actually uses him for their own private events so you know he is good.

you also have to consider their style. I did not want a lot of props and craziness which some other Disney recommended DJ's are known for. I also did not want just jazz and soft music etc which others are known for. What is great about Charles is he can do anything. He just played awesome music and lots of my requests etc.

We had Loganmania through Disney. We didn't request him, but he ended up being great. We had emailed him a set list beforehand and he had everything ready to go for the wedding. He also joked to some of our guests on the dancefloor. I would recommend using him for sure!
